Booking and Check-In

Free Wi-Fi and Parking

Q: Is there free Internet access?

Yes, guests have complimentary internet access via our wi-fi system. Please talk to reception at Check-in.

Q: Is there free parking?

Yes, but not guaranteed.
We do offer free parking for 1 vehicle per room, space permitting.
During peak times or major local events, we can not guarantee parking.
Parking space can not be booked


Information about bookings, payments and check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 2.00 pm. Check-out is 10.00 am.

Q: What are the reception hours?

Office hours:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sat: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Sunday: closed

The entry doors to the building will be unlocked from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday, and closed on the weekend - guests will need their issued security swipe to access the building outside of these times. Please contact the hotel for details.

Q: Is after hours check-in available?

Yes, should you be arriving after hours, please contact reception prior to your stay so we can provide you with our after-hours check-in procedure.

Q: Can I have a late check-out?

Late check-outs are subject to availability. Please enquire with reception if you would like to organise a late check-out. Please note: late check-out fees apply.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check-in date and time (based on 2:00 pm arrival). If 48 hours prior notice is not provided, or for no shows, the entire booking amount will be payable.

Q: What facilities do you have?

We have a pool, gym, and day spa (provided by third party company, A-Spa).

Q: Is all linen provided?

Yes. Extra linen can be provided with fees. Please check with reception.

Q: How long is the pool and is it heated?

The pool is 12m long and it is not heated.

Q: How close is Brisbane CBD?

Approx. 15 min walk across the Victoria Bridge.

Q: How close is the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre?

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) is located just a short walk away (750m) from The Capitol Apartments.

Q: Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

Yes, within walking distance there are hundreds of shops and restaurants. You're in the cultural center of West End, South Bank and South Brisbane

Q: Is there public transport nearby?

Yes, South Brisbane Train Station is located a short walk (500m) away from The Capitol Apartments. South Bank's Cultural Centre bus station is located 400m.

Q: What local attractions are in the area?

The Capitol Apartments are located just a stone's throw away from South Bank's Cultural Precinct and Parklands. Local attractions that are in within walking distance of our hotel include:

  • Queensland Art Gallery
  • GOMA: Gallery of Modern Art,
  • the State Library of Queensland,
  • QPAC: Queensland Performing Arts Centre,
